What is the race medal you are most proud of and why?

Rocky Raccoon 100 miler because of all that the race encompassed during these times. ”It was bringing racing back.”

What is your dream race or location for a run?

At this point one is too hard to narrow down, any and all of them. 

What is your favorite trail to run?

The Cool area, such a beautiful place.

What’s your favorite race distance?

50K but 100 miles is catching up to it. 

What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you or that you have seen on the trail?

During the TTT race last year when I bent down to tie my shoe and our friend Ricky ran past, saying “That sucks!” and I never caught back up to him again. This year at the same place you can guarantee I glanced down to make sure my rabbit ears were tied tight…YES, even though it was virtual. 

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not running? 

Home projects and gardening. 

Who are your running heroes? Who inspires you?

The people in our running community that find the time to give to themselves in health and fitness, in addition to all the time they give to others.

Describe the moment you realized you were a “runner”.

When I was running a race a month for multiple years in a row. 

What are your goals?

To inspire others to find their place in the sport of running and fitness.
